UCLA Transportation has requested that KOA prepare a study identifying potential realignments of the bus routes in Westwood Village (from Veteran Avenue east to Hilgard Avenue, and from Le Conte Avenue south to Wilshire Boulevard) and the commensurate bus stop relocations, such that Westwood Boulevard north of Wilshire Boulevard would be a bus-free segment. A potential relocation area to be considered is Kinross Avenue functioning as a transit hub. The Kinross Avenue hub would also be considered for ride-hailing operations. KOA will conceptually develop the infrastructure changes needed for the potential realignment, including the modifications to, or relocations of, the existing bus stops. Based on the realignments selected, KOA will analyze the traffic implications on Westwood Boulevard and other Westwood Village streets affected by the Project.
