As part of the processing of a Conditional Use Permit for a change of office building use to a preschool and kindergarten facility, we are preparing the necessary traffic/queuing analysis to evaluate drop-off/pick-up activities as well as a parking demand management (PDM) plan to evaluate employee and visitor parking demands. KOA is assisting in the preparation of the expanded Mobility/Transit Demand Management (TDM) Plan and Transportation Study Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the School, as required by the City. As part of these efforts, KOA worked with the project team to collect drop-off/pick-up data at the existing school site and develop measures for reducing trips and increasing carpooling to the site.
