We are excited to announce that we have been selected by SCAG for the City of Indio and Kit of Parts Activations Project. We will lead a Go Human activation in Indio and assist Azusa, Pasadena, El Monte, Buena Park, Cathedral City, and ICTC deploy the Kit of Parts. The Kit of Parts activations will align with the Go Human Resilient Streets Strategies and Framework and provide technical assistance to local jurisdictions interested in developing street level activations. KOA is proud to partner with these agencies in creating safer, healthier, and more equitable communities.

KOA is proud to announce that the City of Claremont has been awarded by the American Public Works Association (APWA) the 2020 BEST Storm Water Quality Award for their Foothill Boulevard Master Plan Improvements Project. KOA provided engineering, construction management and planning consulting services for this project. The Master Plan improvements were intended to provide for: safe and efficient vehicular, transit, bicycle and pedestrian transportation; urban design elements that sustain and enhance the unique local character of the Claremont section of the roadway; and provide a public right-of-way that is highly sustainable in terms of its biology, water quality, diversity of transportation modes, and economic viability of surrounding businesses.
