UCSD Gilman Transit Hub & Traffic Walk, La Jolla, California
KOA is performing the conceptual development and final design for what is planned to be the first LEED certified transit station at the Gilman Transit Hub and Traffic Walk located on UCSD’s central campus. The work performed by the firm includes determining the types of facilities to be incorporated into the station and preparation of cost estimates. Responsibilities also include collecting accident and transit data, pedestrian and traffic counts and performing pedestrian, vehicular and bicycle circulation analysis.
