Featured Project: CV LINK Painters Path Spur Connection

This project addresses two phases of connecting Painters Path in the city to CVAG’s CV Link for bicycle and golf cart uses. Phase 1 is a segment of Painters Path from the Bump and Grind hiking trail to the Palm Valley Channel. The Phase 2 segment continues from the Palm Valley Channel to El Paseo, within the City Center. KOA is providing services to develop and design a safe, well-interconnected active transportation network within the City Central District. Once this network is connected to the CV Link (including Painters Path, Park View, Monterey, and Magnesia Falls), its extension to El Paseo and San Pablo Avenue will create a spine of pedestrian/bicycle/golf cart corridors that will enhance accessibility, connectivity, and sustainability throughout the study area and the City’s shopping district, retail centers, residential neighborhoods, and other major attractors.
