Day Creek Roundabout, Rancho Cucamonga, California (photos shown above)
This project consisted of a roundabout design for Day Creek Road south of Foothill Boulevard, in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. KOA prepared preliminary and final engineering geometrics plus signing & striping plans in conformance to Federal guidelines. Careful attention was made to the design of the shape of the outer circle, inner circle, approach roadways, and splitter islands in relation to design speeds and large design vehicles.
